Ev Turner wins the Club Pairs Championship in 2012
Ev Turner is a founder member of the Cairns Bridge Club, joining following the inaugural meeting in February 1972. She served as Club Secretary from 1983-1990 and was also the Club Teacher for 8 years and a director for many years.
Ev's name is on our Pairs and Teams Honour Boards twenty times, more than any other player. She won the inaugural Pairs Championship in 1983 and is a member of the current (2015) Teams Champions. She became Cairns first Grand Master in the 1990s and has represented the Club and North Queensland Zone many times in congresses and in State and National tournaments.
